The Gerresheimer Queretaro facility, which manufactures Type I Borosilicate glass containment solutions for the Pharmaceutical and Biological industries is the recipient of a multimillion dollar investment to expand its line of products to further strengthen its partnership with one of the most innovative and fast growing pharmaceutical companies in the world. The investment partnership is directed to expand prefillable syringe capacity with state of the art forming, inspection and Ready to Fill technology responding to a high demand growth market for obesity treatment.
The investment is a clear signal of trust and confidence in Mexico and the Queretaro facility that has demonstrated to be one of the top performing plants during the years to be one of the best choices for these investments. More than 200 direct jobs are being created in different areas of expertise, such as engineering, quality assurance, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, electronic, quality and manufacturing technicians among others.
