O-I and Chovet-Db2i set for success on Gironcourt partnership
Tuesday 17th September 14:00 - 14:20
O-I Manufacturing is investing more than €60 million at its Gironcourt-sur-Vraine glassmaking site. It will construct a new furnace that will allow the commissioning of three additional lines in 2020 capable of producing 1.9 billion glass containers per year. Approximately 88% of the raw materials used for the manufacture of the bottles will be made from recycled glass. Building on its success in the design and construction of the Guadalajara, Mexico plant in record time (327 days), Lyon-based Chovet DB2i is developing an exemplary partnership with O-I in engineering and EPCM to meet the challenge of ambitious renovation.
