In June 2008, Adeline was appointed Secretary General of FEVE, the EU Federation for Container Glass.
She is also currently Secretary General of Glass Alliance Europe and member of the Board of CETIE the European inter-professional organization of customers and producers.
Adeline has spent 25 years in Brussels working for various private and institutional organisations including the EU Commission, EU Parliament, Deloitte, and EuropaBio – the EU association for biotechnology industries.
Born in Ireland in 1963, Adeline holds a degree in political science from University College Dublin (UCD) and later earned a marketing qualification from the Marketing Institute of Ireland. She is an active member of the Countess Markievicz group supporting women for election.
Gender and diversity issues are important and recurring themes much more in the news today than at any other time in history. Companies that score well on diversity in general deliver better results. This session will look at what the container glass industry is doing in promoting equality? Even if traditionally our industry is still male dominated, increasing numbers of women are joining the ranks and getting jobs not just in downstream processes but also in more technical and leadership roles.
