Jaša has been successfully completing and upgrading his knowledge as a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, which has been upgraded with a master’s in business sciences. Over the past years, he successfully managed a number of projects and specialised in project management in the fields of automation, robotics, machine vision of treatment plants, and digitisation project management in Steklarna Hrastnik. He is also a recipient of innovation awards and a participant of national and international professional training courses (AM Cham young professionals, etc.). All this served as an excellent starting point for him assuming the position of the Head of Projects and Investments and consequently the management of one of Steklarna Hrastnik’s key projects – the transition to Industry 4.0.
In light of its ambitious business objectives and strategic direction, Steklarna Hrastnik is actively involved in the introduction of the Industry 4.0 concept, as in the upcoming years, the glassworks plans to increase production capacities and reduce production times with automation and digitisation of the production process. Simultaneously, the glassworks is improving flexibility of production and upgrading capacities and quality of production of bottles of the highest technical complexity. The glassworks is also preparing its employees for the changes brought by Industry 4.0 by providing additional training, as transitioning to Industry 4.0 will additionally improve working conditions and reduce its environmental footprint.
